As we continually reset, re-adjust and refocus our strategy to make the organisation a leader in the sector and industry, we fully understand that we are planting trees that we may not be able to sit in their shade or enjoy their fruits, hence Vision 2030 is meant to benefit both the present and future generations.

We consider the history of the Institute, the path to becoming an RGA, leadership, and the inspiration drawn as we inaugurate the SAIGA Limpopo region.

The region’s mandate is to carry out the plan at the provincial level, attend to the needs of our stakeholders there, find new members, and track down any lapsed or disinterested members.

We need to professionalise the provincial landscape and change its audit outcome and to some extent communities, host webinars, training, seminars, and provincial conference, and be the SAIGA Ambassador in the province.

Regions must develop a leadership pipeline for positions in the province and on council and be financially self-sufficient.

To accomplish this, regions must sign the provincial MOU with the Premier’s office, COGTA, and Treasury and collaborate with local forums like CAE, CFO, Premier’s Coordinating Forum, HOD’s Forum, and PAG Forum.

The 2019–2025 strategies include, among other things, repositioning SAIGA to concentrate on both auditing and accounting disciplines within the public sector and developing strategic alliances that will position SAIGA as the preferred launch pad for the expansion of the public sector financial management capabilities into Africa.

The priority of the operational strategy for 2025–2030 is still to improve the value offered for our members to receive value for their money, to rebuild member pride in the Institute, and to promote all strategic alliances locally and internationally, including the certification of businesses and academic institutions.

This is in addition to improving the capacity for revenue generation and implementing cutting-edge methods, to make sure SAIGA operates efficiently and effectively.
